When I try to record to a dvd I get errors:

Everything was working before christmas. Now cd records at about 6x where previously it was at about 20x. DVD records for a few seconds at about 0.5x and dies.

I don't even know where to look.

Any help would be appreciated.

I'm running Fedora Core 4.

It seems that k3b-0.11.23-3 is not compatiable with the kdelibs-3.5.0-0.1.fc4, some have found sucess with updating to k3b-0.12.4a-1.xcyb.fc4.i386.rpm from;

http://rpms.xcyb.org/fedora/4/stable/

And k3b-0.12.10-0.fc4.1 is available and is reported as working;

Personally I perfer k3b-0.12.12 (the latest) myself;
