K3B freezes X

I've been trying to run K3B on my RH9 install but have been having some problems... Bascially, I've been going through the K3B setup. When I get to the part where you can add other users to the list so they can have access to recording, X freezes entirely when I click on the "Add User" button. The only thing I can do is Ctrl-Alt-Backspace.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling but that the behaviour continued. I used synaptic to install K3B.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

I used the k3b rpm install for rh9 also, and have been having this exact problem. K3b setup also freezes X if I click on any of the buttons such as "Details before the user screen also.
