K3B Freezes

I have just downloaded the latest version of K3B. The installation went fine, but when I try running the K3B setup in KDE, nothing happens. I get the following output from a terminal:

Loading required GL library /usr/X11R6/lib/libGL.so.1.2
Loading required GL library /usr/X11R6/lib/libGL.so.1.2
kbuildsycoca running...
Loading required GL library /usr/X11R6/lib/libGL.so.1.2
kcontrol: ERROR: Module k3bsetup2 not found!
QMutex::unlock: unlock from different thread than locker
was locked by 0, unlock attempt from 16384

Does anyone have a solution?

OK, I have sorted out the problem of the program's freezing by myself, but the actual K3B burning does not work.

I tried to burn an ISO image and I got this:

'Input/Output error (not necessarily serious).
cdrecord returned an unknown error (code 254).
Unknown error 254.'

Please help if you can!

Just got this for the first time under Gentoo trying to burn the second disc of Fedora Core 3 for my laptop system. Its funny, because I burned an ISO right before it (disc 1) and right after (disc 3). I know disc 1 turned out OK, because I used it, but I don't know about disc 3 yet, since I don't have disc 2. I reburned and got the same error. I'm going to emerge cdrecord and see if a newer version fixes it.

I've now fixed that problem myself, and I can't remember exactly, but I think the fix was to make sure the CD or DVD drive is unmounted before running k3b, and, unless the priveliges are definitely set up correctly in k3bsetup, run k3b as root with kdesu -c k3b.
