k3b + ede

Hi, as you can probly guess from my questions im a complete noob to linux but am here to learn, so tnx in advance for any help and ur patience.

first question is - will the cd/dvd burning software k3b work with any desktop environment?

second question, how would i install ede on a linux machine with no desktop environment. (it has a working internet connection aswell)

You can either install it with your distribution's package manager or compile it yourself. This can all be done using the terminal. k3b will probably drag with it a lot of KDE libraries, but it will work.

Please edit your profile and add at least your distro to the profile. It greatly eases answering you questions without having to guess what is normal for your distro and what not.
