K3b does no copy CDs with multiple track!!

hi there

i am trying to copy and write a CD which has multiple tracks usig K3B and i got an error that k3b requires newer version of cdrecord
so i got that newer version
and now it reports that it cannot copy a cd with multiple tracks

how do i go about this??

also i tried creating Video CDs with K3b and it tells me that it can only support MPEG2 MPEG1 files
i have been doing this previosly with NERO on windows ,but since i have not opted for windows this time so i do not have any option

regards..
