k3b - burning CD's/DVD's with anoter charset/codepage.
Hello!
Question:
I'm using k3b 1.0 with cdrecord 2.01.01-a24 and dwd+rwtools7.0. I'd like to specify another charset/codepage for CDs/DVDs i burn. I need to make disks that use another encoding, not the one my system use. How can I do that?
System Info:
I'm using Slackware 11 with kernel 2.6.17.13.
The reason:
SOmetimes I need to burn a CD/DVD that will be used on Windows machine (WinXP SP2, for example). The last CD I have made caused WinXP SP2 machine to crash immediatly when user tried to select a file with mouse. Machine crashed violently - it went into a black screen with no symbols. (I certainly didn't expect such reaction from system). I think the problem was with non-windows 8bit encoding/codepage that was used for this CD. I think so because when windows explorer automatically opened CD folder, all non-english filenames were garbled and they were shown as unreadable symbols.
So, how can be cd/dvd burned with non-system codepage?
