K3B Alternatives
Is there any alternatives for K3B, which is as functional as K3B is? And maybe a program for burning MP3 files to cd-audio? I think i saw some GNOME program once which looked as if it was something like K3B, but i can't remember it's name ..
Can you list your best alternatives? I just want something for Data, MP3 Audio, Copying, SVCD, VCD, KVCD, DivX/XviD to SVCD/VCD (I know this isn't that spread yet, but maybe there's a little magic program i haven't seen?) .. Just as functional as possible, but not KDE! Thanks guys! |
I think there's no good alternatives for K3B, but i think i know some popular cd burners:
XCDROAST and Gnome Toaster, but i don't think that they are very good. Also there is a Nautilus cd burner for Gnome, i've never used it, but i've heard that it's realy easy to use, maybe it's the one you're looking for. I think also you should check out this link: http://linux.tucows.com/cd_burners_default.html it contains some cd burners information and rating, maybe there you can find an alternative. |
Nautilus-cd-burner is very easy to use...however it cant see my cd-rw driver when K3B can, on the subject how do I get K3B to burn an .iso image, I mean not just put the .iso on the cd but take the image and put it on the cd, so that i see all the folders and files inside of the .iso on the cd, if you get what i mean?

I just click on a .iso image, and K3B opens automatically. Discovered that simply by accident one day. ;)
