K-Mail and multiple email accounts
I am using K-mail under Red Hat 8.0 - I have 2 email accounts I want to use. I can pull from both just fine, but if I reply to a retreived message from the second identity I created it always sends via the first account and the server rejects it.

There's a drop down menu at the top of your send window. Drop it down to your account you wish to send mail from, and then click the sticky button to make it default to that.

I have two identity's DI and RYN
if I compose a message I can choose DI or RYN and the correct return email address shows up. However no matter whuch identity I select when I select 'send' the password dialog comes up for the DI identity, and if I am trying to send a message 'from' the RYN identity then the password auth fails (since its trying to send via the wrong host) ?????? |
Are you trying to send it via sendmail on your own box, or smtp using your ISP's smtp server, or what?
How do you have your identities set up? Cool |
I have Broadband cable internet access and I have two seperate web hosting services one with xo and one with blue domino. I am trying to set the identities up to use the web host emails
DI login: kevin.kempter@di.com pop3: pop3.di.com smtp: smtp.di.com RYN login: kevin.kempter@ryn.com pop3: mail.ryn.com smtp: mail.ryn.com |
