Question Just installed Pascal compiler to Debian. Howto open it?

Hi,
I've just installed a Pascal compiler program (fp-compiler)from the Debian repository via my Debian 4.0 OS and would like to know how to open it or use it. Other ones work easily. E.G. Type "ruby -v" into an xterm and you get a response. With this one, the shell doesn't seem to recognise anything in the name when typed on the command line. Where do I go from here? Bye
Regards richag77
