Just installed gkrellm, how do i start it?
I just installed gkrellm on my Linux Mandrake. I used an rpm. How do i start it so i can see whats going on?
|
gkrellm
:) Open up a terminal, and type: gkrellm Cool |
bash: gkrellm: command not found
|
1. open a terminal and type 'gkrellm &'
or: 2. right click on desktop. choose 'run command'. type 'gkrellm' and hit enter. edit: Are you sure you installed it correctly? run 'rpm -q gkrellm' and make sure it is listed. If it is...then it would seem that it is installed somewhere outside of your path. To find it you could run: updatedb then: locate gkrellm |
And why cant I open rpm's anymore?
I tried installing urpmi, and now i cant do jack. Someone help please.... |
Maybe it's gkrellm2 and it's launched with:
gkrellm2 Instead? What happen when you "tried installing" urpmi? Cool |
It failed because of the usual dependency hell, but now I cant run any rpm's, and also, rpmdrake is gone in MDK user control panel :(
