JBoss on SuSE 10.2 and 11.0

Just looking for some input on running JBoss 4.x or 5.x on SUSE 10.2 and 11.0.

Risk of running JBoss on uncertified Linux?
Will it ever be certified to run on SUSE?
Install issues?

Anything else I need to know?

Thank you.

I had an install of jboss 4.2.3ga on suse 10.1, and got it working fine.

There were some problems though, the one i remember being "open files" set too low on the OS. I had to up them from whatever they started at to get jboss to work.

Other than that, jboss mainly relies on your java installation.

Jboss really likes to have jboss running on Redhat related distros -- i think that's simply because it is their OS and what they develop Jboss on. Thats all conjecture though.
