javascrpt problem with Firefox

I got a problem with javascript with Firefox. In my hotmail inbox, to retrieve a message, i get no response from firefox after click on the link. the link seems to be a javascript format like: javascript:G('/cgi-bin/getmsg?msg=96B3B6B4-2EAE-4EDD-9E6D-623941F5A235&start=0&len=4341710&imgsafe=y')

Not sure why it is not working. do i need to do any patch?

Thanks in advance,
K.

That's just Hotmail being really annoying! It should open the link in a new window with a silly Hotmail banner across the top. A solution would be to install the greasemonkey extension with the hotmail script that converts the Javascript links to normail HTML links.

Thanks rjwilmsi for the information.

Interestingly, there is no such problem with i login to GNOME. It is only a problem with KDE. looks a bit strange to me.
