Question javascript on mozilla

hi every body,
I use mozilla ( redhat 8.0 ) to access a web server running php which use some javascript applet ( giving sub menu on the browser), but the applets don't run ??

when I do the same thing with konqueror the applets run correctly .
I looked in preferences where to check applets or something like this , but nothing ???

Take a look at Tolls -> Javascript console (in mozilla firebird), maybe there is some javascript error.

I gives error : window.event has no properties
source file

which is the source file
but with konqueror I haven't this problem
