Java within web browsers

Hi
I'm using redhat 7.1 and I can't run java applets with neither mozilla nor konqueror. Mozilla tells me that I should download the package jre to run the applet. I've already installed it. Java is enabled in both browsers.
What's the problem?
Thank you for your help

If you've installed java SDK from java.sun.com there is the jre directory in java directory, look there for plugin directory and in i386 dir there should be directories for netscape netscape6 and mozilla, what you should do you should symlink the appropriate plugins from jre to plugins directory of your browsers (they are usually in /usr/lib/mozilla/plugin and /usr/lib/netscape/plugin for mozilla and netscape respectably).
