Java Runtime and Konqueror + Mozilla
 

I have been trying to get onto a table at pokerroom.com and I needed to install Suns J2RE. I pointed Konqueror to /usr/java/"java version#"/java and the applets will not load, I just get a gray screen. Mozilla (proper, Firebird, Firefox) crash when I try to enter the poker table, I made the appropriate symlink to the libjavaplugin.so file as well. Has anyone else dealt with such a problem? I know my friend is running a system very identical to mine (same kernel, same version of KDE and he was the one who reccomended that I go to that site to play)

I think that you might be using the wrong plugin. Delete that one out of your Mozilla plugins directory, and use /path to java /jre/plugin/i386/ns610-gcc32/libjavaplugin_oji.so. Make sure that there are no other jave plugins in your browsers plugin directory.
