Java Problem
Cant get Java to install under root, keep say permission denied. How do i get around this problem?

What is the full package name that you are trying to install? What commands are you using to do so?

Check the file permissions - as downloaded it is probably not executable. In case you don't kno, chmod +x <filename> will make it executable.
