Question Java Plugin for Netscape 7.02/Mozilla 5.0?

I downloaded and installed the latest java (from SUN), j2re1.4.1_02 Standard Edition. I went to /usr/java/j2re1.4.1_02/plugin/i386/ and got the plugin and copied it into my /usr/local/netscape/plugin folder. I actually tried all three that came with java: ns4, ns600, and ns610, but to no effect. Actually when i tested the ns600 and ns610 plugins (seperately) on a website that used java it shutdown the browser. Am i doing something wrong?

I have RH 7.2 and installed j2re-1_4_1_01-fcs-linux-i586.rpm.
Then the only thing I had to do was to make a link:
ln -s /usr/java/j2re1.4.1_01/plugin/i386/ns610/ /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/
then launch mozilla and go. (Check that the paths are the same in your dist)
If you are using another browser you will probably need to make the link addressing some other place.
Good luck
