java n fc3, error permission denied

hey guyz,
i got a question, how can i install java RE?

i got j2re-1_4_2_08-linux-i586.bin n i also got j2re-1_4_2_08-linux-i586-rpm.bin

n neither of them work.

i'm in su n i type

./j2re-1_4_2_08-linux-i586.bin n i get permission denied.

basiclly i'm trying 2 follow this

n no luck, any1 has any ideas?
or do i have 2 be in root?

sorted,

i just had 2 type chmod +x j2re............. then
./j2re..........bin

thanx anyway
