java insataltion


Hi. Can someone please help me. Im trying to install java. Ive typed in terminal
sudo apt-get install sun-java6-jdk
but i got error message:
E: Unable to lock the administration directory (/var/lib/dpkg/), is another process using it?

There is another version of apt-get running
make sure you are not using synaptic, a update manager or apt-get in another terminal.
