Java crashes mozilla

Hi there,

I'm using the Mozilla 1.6 included in Fedora Core 2. Everytime I load a page with Java, the browser crashes. I get the following error in the terminal:

Code:
INTERNAL ERROR on Browser End: Exec of "java_vm" failed: 2
<
System error?:: No existe el fichero o el directorio

** (Gecko:3072): WARNING **: Serious fd usage error 19

** (Gecko:3072): WARNING **: Serious fd usage error 17
INTERNAL ERROR on Browser End: Could not read ack from child process
System error?:: Recurso no disponible temporalmente
Anyone know what's wrong? Java is listed on the plugins page (aboutlugins).

Did you install Java yourself? If so, one of those two things might have happened:

1 - You've created a wrong link for java;
2 - Java VM comes broken very often thanks to Sun. Best solution is to download again and install it fresh.

Here is a quick install guide that I wrote for Limewire, Java and Mozilla. Take a look at it:

Be careful at step number #4. Although "ns610-gcc32" is the one that worked for me, some members reported that it made their browser crash like yours while "ns610" fixed the problem. Read the thread and you will understand what I'm talking about

Good luck!

Thanks anyway, I found that the real reason was that I copied the java plugin instead of using a symlink. Oops.
