JACK Audio Connection Kit Installation
Hello everyone one. I'm a linux newb to a pretty extreme degree. I was trying to figure out how to install JACK and I don't know what exactly the instructions were telling me to do. Maybe I was just reading the wrong thing, but if not, if someone could explain how to do it in a way that even someone with my level of linux experience would understand. It would be great. Thanks for your time.

thankfully some distributions have jack all set up now for you to install so look for a package specific for your distribution.
what distribution are you using ? Or look for instruction for setting up an audio system specific for your distribution. This stuff changes alot over time so make sure your instructions are specific to your version of your distribution. otherwise setting up an audio studio box is kind of not a newby thing unless you want to go for it and just follow the compilation instructions and solve the problems one at a time. Its not easy. Debian actually forked for a little while for developers to figure it out.
