Jabra UC Voice worked fine in Gnome but doesn't show up in XFCE

Howdey,

I have a Jabra UC Voice 150 MS headphone/mic combo. I have used it with many different distros and it has worked fine for me up until I switched my DE frome Gnome to XFCE on my debian box. Now the jabra doesn't show up in the volume mixer. I am wondering if there is a plugin or something that I need to install for it to work with xfce. I have done some googling but no luck yet.

thanks in advance,

- Cr0wb4r

Edit:
After having done some testing with a sip application (linphone), I have found that the headset still works and was found by Linphone. The problem seems to be that it just doesn't apear in the alsamixer. I think that at this point I need to figure out how to get alsamixer to see it though I still haven't had much luck.
