ivp6 - should this be enabled

A few years ago I had a problem with ipv6 using suse and diabled this.

Over subsequent years and lots of updated suse (or opensuse now) installations I have just automatically disabled this option out of habit.

Now ipv6 is more widespread should I really be leaving it enabled? I connect through a standard netgear adsl router.

Many thanks

well are you personally using wanting to / able to use ipv6 on your LAN? if you aren't using it, then you're clearly not going to have any use from enabling it.
