iTunes, Linux, Wine

Hi guys,

As you probably have known, Apple released their iTunes for PC, well, Windows 2K/XP actually. I am wondering if anybody tried to install it on Linux using Wine or something. Would you mind if shedding some lights, since I got an error message saying that a file needed for installation couldn't be found from the current directory.

Thanks a lot.

Which file was that? When I tried (just now to try and figure out your answer), it said I didn't have instmsia.exe. That's actually a common Windows problem for Win98, and you have to install a recent MSI installer, downloaded from the Microsoft website.

However, I get an unhandled page fault error after that.

It would just be easier if Apple released the iTunes for linux, too! I think iTunes is a great idea and would be great for linux, too!

Yes, it was instmsia.exe. I downloaded it, too. Now I got an error message:

1608: Unable to create InstallDriver instance
