I have Itunes ( version 4.6 since it is the one compatible with Crossover 4.1 )
and slackware linux 10.0

I went through the built in installation for itunes in crossover but eventually it said that " I have an old windows installer " and I got past that and then I got an error " crossover office unable to install installshield scripting runtime " and I was unable to install itunes.

I had the same error occur.

i using MDK10.0, i got it to work by doing a fresh crossover office install, then installing all of the core fonts, then installling iTunes before anything else.
on first boot iTunes caused wine to crash, then iTunes got better and ran through the configuration wizard,
but,
there was no sound until i set the ´sound driver load order´ to look to winearts.drv instead of the default wineoss.drv.[i using KDE with aRTs sound]

now it works cool
except that on booting iTunes i´m told to reinstall because the CD burning functionality is cactus [which is in the known issues at codeweavers]
