Item in ~/.kde/Autostart runs twice

I am using Mandrake 10.1 COmmunity. I have aMSN running all the time when I have my comoputer on, and have added a symbolic link to aMSN in ~/.kde/Autostart, so that is is launcehd automatically when KDE starts.

Recently when I have booted up my computer I have been greeted by two instances of aMSN, and I can't see why. Can anyone shed any light on this?

After starting up shut down one of them and remove your autostart entry. Then restart KDE without shutting down the remaining amsn. If amsn pops back up them KDE will automatically reload it. Which would explain why your getting two instances. One from autostart & one from KDE session manager....Just a thought.
