ITEM = NUMBER is needed by (installed) PROGRAM


ok,

I'm trying to upgrade a few things,

I get messages like this :

httpd-mmn = 20020628 is needed by (installed) mod_perl-1.99_05-3


Distro: RH 8.

Upgrating Apache from 2.0.40 to apache 2.0.44

what is this, what's it mean, & what do I do - Thanx

It means you still have a dependancy you need to solve. You need an RPM that will provide httpd-mmn.
http://www.rpmfind.net/linux/rpm2htm...&system=&arch=
just find the one that fits your system in that list and install. It should work after that.
