When I try to connect to my messenger accounts through Kopete, the buddy list comes up for about a second and then all goes offline. I only use Kopete for an AIM account and i'm unsure as to whether or not the problem lies within the server or some settings in Kopete. I went through all the Kopete settings and everything looked fine to me -- but I'm not sure if there are certain things I need to set. If any of you have experienced similar issues and were able to resolve them, please reply to this thread. Also, if anyone could provide additional AIM servers besides login.oscar.aol.com, it would be greatly appreciated. Cheers.

I'm having the exact same problem.

the thing is, it's only with some logins
i have about 7 aim screen names, and only one of them does that; the rest work fine

when my girlfriend tried to log in, it did the thing to her, too
