Issue in RHEL server with yum install command

Hi, I am trying to execute below command on RHEL 6.1 server but the package is not getting installed. And same message for other packages as well. Any help is appreciated

yum install epel-release
No package epel-release available
Error: Nothing to do

Most EPEL mirrors dropped EL6 packages after the product retirement of RHEL 6 on 30 November 2020.

There are currently 11 active mirrors left that still provide access to EPEL 6. You have to edit /etc/yum.repos.d/epel.repo manually and either provide the standard metalink URL

metalink=https://mirrors.fedoraproject.org/metalink/?repo=epel-6&arch=$basearch

or select one or several mirrors from the link above for baseurl.

In the latter case the URL(s) should point to Fedora archive instead of the usual EPEL path, e.g.

You really need to replace that system asap - no more security updates .....
