Iso 9600??


Does anyone know how can i enable iso 9600 ISO CD-ROM support in kernel 2.4.22 or pre version??
Where is it under if i do make meunconfig?

I think you mean ISO9660.

It's "ISO 9660 CDROM file system support" under "File Systems". It's best if you also enable "Microsoft Joliet CDROM extensions".

ok, i guess i had a similar question...some of my cds can be read when i mount /dev/cdrom and some can't when it complains that it's an invalid fs type...so i really have to mess around with the kernel to get joliet support?? I'm using Debian Woody with kernel 2.2.20. Also, a plain old music cd: is it of a joliet fs type?

If you talking MUSIC here. I got tell you this pal. YOU CAN'T MOUNT MUSIC CD IN LINUX!!!!!!
But if you want to listen to it. Just go head open up your "xmms" my simply typing it in the terminal and click open. Change the directory to /mnt/cdrom - in your case. Then there will be a list of music files that's on your cd

You can't mount a music cd as it doesn't have a filesystem.
