Question iSCSI target software from Ardis

Hello everybody,

I instaled Ardis iSCSI taret software and I must say it is working like a
charm, but I have one problem. I want to mount it from my Linux server,
on which I have installed iSCSI target, to make backup. I use /dev/sda1
partition for block device and formated it from linux machine like vfat.
Then I installed iSCSI initiator from Microsoft on my Win Xp Laptop. It
worked perfectly and I formated it like NTFS, becouse I cant format it
like FAT32, and copied some files. When I tried to mount /dev/sda1 on
linux machine I get some weird signs in /mnt/sda1.

Please help

Is the XP system disconnected? If both systems try to write to it, you will corrupt it. By default it only supports one connection at a time per LUN, but that can be overridden.

Holy crap, I just noticed that this was two years old. Nevermind. So much for running through unanswered posts.
