hi,
got it guys.i installed it.
The problem is the kernel version. As of now, the last stable version of iscsi-target is not compatible with kernel 2.6.19.
so download the the development version using svn as
svn checkout http://svn.berlios.de/svnroot/repos/iscsitarget/trunk
it will make a copy to ur current working directory. The real goodness is they are for 2.6.19 and the next stable version will be based on it.Also, there is a patch available to support older kernels.
u have to copy ietd.conf,initiators.allow,initiators.deny manually to ur /etc folder. Also u have to manually compress the manual pages by gz and copy it to the man folder,so that man command works.
regards,
Nirmal Tom.
