Is WineX CVS stadalone of WIne (for winehq.org)?

Can I install WineX CVS without having installed the Wine from winehq.org? Cause I tried and whenever I try to run anything the WineX CVS complains:

wine: Unhandled exception, starting debugger...
err:seh:EXC_DefaultHandling Unhandled exception code c0000005 flags 0 addr 0x400 aebf9

PLease note that before I had a Wine installation (from winehq.org) and the same program worked flawlessly.
