Is there something better than Testdisk for linux/windows to fix Linux ext3 ??

Hello,

I am encountering troubles with testdisk. It is destinated certainly for non advanced users; one may just press enter for "search" or "search more".

Well, I know that my disk has ~19GB ext3 / ~140GB ext3 / ~855MB swap
and nothing else, but this of course is not seen by testdisk.

The testdisk finds me NTFS lol Well for sure, I am not having this
Could a good program set the partition table and then seek carefully cluster per cluster to put everthg in order ?
(a bit like those complete and powerful recovery programs for windows partitions)

Testdisk will fix partitions. If you are looking to repair a file system then use fsck.
