Is there Linux software that can do this?

I was wondering if there was a Linux program that does the same as Windows' version of "Terminal Services". I'm not talking about a telnet server, but one that simulates the desktop environment. I know that a lot of Linux work is done from the terminal, so I woulden't really need graphics, but I put a fair number of shortcuts on my KDE desktop that I find rather useful.

If there is a Linux program that can do this what is the name of it?

Thanks for reading.

Oops, I forgot the actual application, hmm I have no idea where it is :), but the question was is there ... so the answer there is and most probably the most widely used is VNC http://www.uk.research.att.com/vnc/

Thank you very much.

That second software program, vnc, is exactially what I am looking for, and I believe I can put that WTS program to good use also.
