is there any monitoring method

I have a lot of hardware , firewall , switch , Dell , HP server from different vendor , I would like to manage the patch update , as sometimes I forgot to do the patch update , and I often get some irrelevant emails from vendor , but they may be not related to new patch .

May I know is there any good method to manage the patch update , I know Nagios may hep to update patch , but is it only for windows and linux server not for applicance ?

is there free tool may help patch update ?

Hi,

From this I gather that you are looking for a centralized patching solution for a wide variety of hardware but still kind of unclear as to what you want to do. I would say look into ansible and create some different playbooks for what you need to do.

Yes , ansible is automation tool , but it is only for update windows , linux OS ? if I would like to manage the update hardware eg. switch , firewall etc , is there good practice to do that ?
