Is there any free offline english loopup dictionary


Is there any free offline english loopup dictionary for linux (like wordweb software supported in windows).

A client for the MIT dictionary server.

Dictionary 2.13.3 from gnome-utils-2.13.3( then you need latest gnome )

For old version,
Dictionary 2.XX from gnome-utils-2.XX

Google or A9 or freshmeat or is your friend.

Hi llmmix,

Thanks for your response.

I installed fedora core 4 and i checked, gnome-utils-2.10.0 is installed on my machine.

Please let me know how to start the dictionary and let me know to do any configuration /download for offline dictionary.
