is there an html editor with remote files editing capabilities?

hi,

i was wondering if there is an html editor with remote file editing capabilities. under windows i was using html-kit which was very beatiful. under linux there is the choice between bluefish and quanta and both are as nearly as beatiful as html-kit, only because i cannot open and edit remote files which lie on a server as far as i have seen. please prove me wrong or if smn know of an alternate text editor with this capability then it would be great.

cheers

If you start a Project>New Project in Quanta you can connect to a server in several ways.

screem (http://www.screem.org/) will let you edit files, or whole projects remotely, or if you prefer work locally, and sync the remote site by uploading only changed files.

bluefish should also be capable of editing files remotely, if built with gnomevfs support.
