I prefer to use 'konsole' (from the KDE project) even under Gnome and other non-KDE window managers.
'Yakuake' is also gaining popularity (it's a Quake-style terminal, whatever that means), but I usually find myself flocking back to 'konsole' every time I start evaluating other terminals.
Hi, I'm running vector linux 5.9 light and the terminal program that is included really blows. (can't copy or paste to it, and can't even scroll).
I don't know of such a terminal that doesn't allow copy/paste.
Most of them can do that by just selecting text with your mouse, then clicking the middle button or pressing shift+insert. Usually shift+arrows or shift+page down/up will scroll, and the mouse wheel does the same.
However I don't know what does vector linux use by default, and I haven't used every terminal under the sun either, so it might be an exception to the general rule
Other have already suggested alternative terminals so I think that that is covered in the thread already.
