Is there a software like Vcool or CpuIdle for Linux?
Hello people,
I`d like to install a software in my Linux that is like the Vcool or CpuIdle in win to decrease the CPU temperature (Athlon or Duron cpu). All suggestions are welcome, friends :.)
Not too sure about downloadable software but AFAIK the same effect can be obtained by enabling the 'halt cpu when idle' option in the kernel under advanced power management which would therefore require a recompile.
