I am looking to find a linux program for creating and editing swf (aka flash) files. Does such a thing exist? In searching the net, I found nothing - except this hilarious flash film about linux: http://www.nata2.info/humor/flash/switchlinux3.swf
Or, is there an open-source equivalent to swf files (ie, like ogg is the equivalent to mp3)? If so, please lemme know. Thanks. And happy holidays to everyone.
Hey,
I've been searching for something similar since september and only came up with a few non-GUI editors (not really helpful so much when dealing with Flash) but anyway, they're listed in this post. Hope it helps.

Well, I tried Ming and found that it was far too much work for far too little results. I also tried installing Dreamweaver MX using wine -- hopeless. Perhaps if I had codeweavers. Anyway, flash sites are largely annoying; so, I won't concern myself anymore.
