Is there a console based applications (/ script) for viewing PDF documents?

pdftk can convert, but a cool program, maybe it exists.

I guess that depends on your definition of cool and what you want to do with it.

well a cool application, I meant something with menus. Like ELINKS it has lot of functions, and is convenient to work with.
