Is there a Audio player in Linux that remembers current play position?

Hi Guys,

Does this exist in Linux at all about from the Guayadeque Player I have not found another audio play able to do this. There must be others Windows has had that ability for years (Itunes etc).

Thanks

Amarok was able to do this in 1.x, I haven't tested 2.x but it might worth a shot.

Songbird is supposed to be able to do this using an addon:

I also think I remember that smplayer (an mplayer qt4 frontend) could do this. But I am not sure.

IIRC, Audacious can do that.

Thanks I managed to get Guayadeque working in Mageia. I drove me insane I had installed all the dependencies listed in the read me but still couldn't compile it. I kept getting GETTEXT_MSGFMT_EXECUTABLE-NOTFOUND: command not found. So I did a quick search in Mageia software manager and gettext wasn't installed, after installing it all worked.

Thanks again
