Is swsusp worth the trouble?
 

I have the swsusp patch applied to 2.4.21 but after reading more about it I wonder if it's worth the effort. According to the documentation it doesn't play nice with pcmcia or USB mice- both of which I absolutely must have. Why go to the trouble of unloading and reloading modules for swsusp? Also- it seems that simply saving your current desktop session does the same thing without requiring the use of a swap partition. What am I missing here?
