Is it possible to run Windows Xversion inside RH9?

I am trying to decide how i want to build (load) my machine. If i can run a windows session (window?) from within a booted up RH9 machine, then i will not do a dual boot.

Is this possible?

I need the ability for support issues. More importantly, if I can get Windows W2k pro to run from within linux.

Any links/tips would be greatly appreciated....i am a serious newbie here....thanks for the guidance!

you need somethign like vmware, which will create a virtual computer to run windows within. it's very expensive though. there are open source equivalents such as bochs but they are not quite up to speed yet. you can also run many windows applications without windows itself, with wine, or CodeWeavers crossover office. crossover is a heavily developed version of wine which only cost about $30 and has proven out of the box compatability with packages like photoshop 7, and office XP.

thats awesome to know about the programs that allow you to run windows apps.

The windows OS running inside linux is needed for supporting my user....yes, sometimes i have to walk them through the point and click stuff, so it is easier for me to "see" on my computer, what they are suppose to see.

thanks
