Question Is it possible to have the title bar of a X window at the bottom ?

Hi.

It's the bar with the close/maximize buttons.

All this stuff down the window.

I use Xfce.

In XFCE, not yet, but it's on the wish list:

Possible yes. Easy if someone already made an app to do that.

The problem not as simple as it would need either making a new xwindow app that has not used defaultwindow or you'd have to change your x manager to display a new default window. Not sure if either would work but unless someone know for sure you have a place to start looking.

All you have to do is download the source of the window manager, change it to whatever you wish, and you're done! You can have titlebar on the top, bottom, side, all of these, none of these ...

By the way, be sure to send the patch to the upstream developers, in the spirit of open source software.

Now I could do this for you, but what would I get in return?
