Have you tried to press the left button on the title bar of the navigator windows, drag the navigator near to the left edge of the editor window and release the left button once a shadow of the window to dock appears?

You can also press the Ctrl key and double click on a blank area near the edges of the Navigator window. Do the same to undock.
