Question Is it possible to access Roxfiler options cli?

The only apparent way to open Roxfiler Options... is a right click menu item on an icon.

I want to access the options dialog elsewhere. The file manager window itself does not include a menu besides command icons.

Any heavy Roxfiler users do this?

From the ROX-Filer User Manual:
Quote:
By default, you can open a menu by right clicking over a pinboard, panel or filer window. In filer windows, you may also press \ to open the menu.

I'm trying to access the Options... menu directly from the command line. Right-clicking on an icon is the default method highlighted by the attachments to the original post.

ROX-Filer allows you to specify an operation with a SOAP RPC format message. I'd search in that direction.

Good morning

I do not know if I understand correctly. Should the currently running instance of Rox-Filer continue to run with different options or do you want to just start Rox-Filer with specific options.

*Me*, I would alter the settings in the configuration files under config/rox.sourceforge.net/ROX-Filer/ and just start or stop/restart the instance in question. This may or may not require an XML-parser.

Greetings,

I tend to edit config settings too, leaning on whichever method is more effective or facile.

ROX-Filer Options... is a more comprehensive configuration that should not require an odd menu (1st thumbnail) for access (2nd thumbnail).

You basically right-click on an icon to access file manager settings that are not really about the icon. You cannot access these preferences from within the file manager, nor command line as it appears, as the Options... dialog looks nothing like a file manager window.

If I do not want to click on an icon to activate the settings dialog, how can I do it?
