Is anyone using sendmail with kav (kaspersky avp)
It seems to me thay have a big time security hole.
kavkeeper would make sendmail accept all mail regardless if wasn't suppose to relay, or being specificaly rejected. the problem occurs when you get email without returnpath tag. Instead of sendmail rejecting it (not allowing to be even submited) it is send to process to be AV checked and than can not be returned to sender, so it would start looping through sendmail, causing huge transfers and av checks. It can go easily to 20GB/hour anyone experienced similar problem |

Any ideas anyone? |
