Is anyone using Musicmatch in Linux?
Ive tried it a couple of times, but with no success, and I was wondering if anyone else has managed to get it running? Im not particularly fond of XMMS really, because Im so used to Musicmatch.

I ran it once a while back, but couldn't stand using it.
What kind of problems are you running into? |
I installed it and tried it. It was alright, but never having used it, and used to xmms, I stuck with it. About once a week I simply go and get the latest plugin toys with xmms and play around. I like the visualization plugins the most, but the album, songsearch, playlist, output, skins and effects plugins are cool too. Anyway, as Risc91 said, what kind of problems. I had non getting it installed and working.

I always get the error that it cant find "C:\whatever\whatever". I havent tried it in a while, so I may give it a shot once the new 9.2 comes out. How do I set up a dummy directory for the C:\ stuff its going to look for?

Musicmatch is bloated and downright terrible, IMO, so I have never tried it in Linux.
|
not so IMO,atleast by linux multimedia standards.

Anyway, what sort of problems are you having?

I get the error that it cant find "C:\blah\blah" I dont have a dummy directory set up, but I dont know how to do that either.
